Election Admin Suite

Text message privacy

How the Election Admin Suite handles poll workers' mobile phone numbers and the text messages it sends. Last updated October 27, 2026.

Who we are

The Election Admin Suite (electionadminsuite.com) is software that local election offices use to recruit, schedule and train poll workers. When an election office sends a text message to its poll workers, it is sent through the suite.

What we collect

We keep the mobile phone number a poll worker gives on their poll worker application, along with whether they agreed to receive text messages. We also keep a record of the messages sent to them and whether each one was delivered, so the election office can see who got a notice.

How we use it

We use mobile numbers only to send poll workers messages about their work for the election office: assignments, training reminders and Election Day notices. We never use them for advertising or marketing.

We don't sell or share mobile numbers

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. We don't sell, rent or trade phone numbers.

The only outside companies that handle a number are the text message carriers and the messaging provider that deliver the messages, and they use it only to deliver them.

How to stop texts

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help. You can also ask your election office to turn off texts for you. Stopping texts doesn't affect your work as a poll worker; the office will reach you by email or phone instead.

How long we keep it

A poll worker's number stays in their election office's records while they are on its poll worker list. When the office removes them, their number is removed too.
